Haven't seen anyone with this problem, so I decided to make a topic about it.

The problem is as follows(I'm currently using 3.40 oe-a so I can use remotejoy): my psp has stopped reading any games, the icon, music etc on the browser are like they should be, but when I start the game, the white psp screen shows up, and after that the psp crashes, just displaying a black screen.

Once it crashes I can't do anything apart from shutting it down, not even the home button works.

Any idea on what the problem might be? I've tried it with various iso's and cso's, formatted the memory card, went to 1.50 then back to 3.40 oe-a, pretty much all I could do.

check your kernal in recovery mode and check no umd. make it use a umd insert. if that dont work download another copy of the game as it might be faulty
