Fucking nub broke on me when I tried to change the top part! Now if I send this to $ony for warranty, they'll update me with the 2.5 which I won't. http://www.xboxrepairguide.com/stock-analo...aaa45e64cf99210 There seems to be a replacement for this, but they're out of stock. Anyone?

They won't update you....they will just s end you a new PSP.

When my psp wouldnt charge I sent it to sony and they sent me a brand new one with 1.52 FW....I updated to 2.0 and luckyly the downgrade came days after!

Gamestop sells a 3 pack of the nubs for $5. You can check the store locator to see if any locations near u have it.

My nub broke Saturday morning...although it didn't look as bad as yours. What happened to mine is that it just got stuck in the down position, I could force it back but something was snapping inside. I took the psp apart, and seemed to get it fixed. Put it back together and it was stuck again in like 10 seconds.

Took a huge gamble and returned it to Costco for an exchange. Luckily I got a FW 1.51 in exchange, but I was really sweating it on the drive home!

I think the larger replacement nubs place too much downward stress on the analog nub inside mechanism -- that switch seems to be made to go linear side-to-side and up and down. The larger nubs are really nice in terms of playing but I won't use another one.
