Consumerist - We now have pictures of the Playstation 3 that Sony refused to repair under warranty because the unit was too dusty. Sony originally claimed that the pictures would not be released without a subpoena, and that the dust presented a threat to their technician's health that could only be alleviated if ourtipster paid $150. You think the guy would of cleaned it up before sending it...its his own dumbass fault! A bottle of canned air would of took care of that!

what does this guy do with his ps3? to be honest if i was sony i would tell him to clean because if he doesn't clean the dust of it then it sort of shows he doesn't care for it therefor its no surprise it broke

No they shouldn't repair it, I don't dust and my PS3 never gets that bad, it's neglect which is a void of the warranty, not to mention the kid who's "PS3 was dusty" was a paid actor, who was hired to make Sony look bad, it's his fault, and Microsteal probably hired him!
