I got a PSP recently and the second I got it, I immidiatly upgraded to Version 2.5. But it seams a lot of the programs that I would find useful onoly work in 1.0 and 1.5. Is there anyway to downgrade from Version 2.5 or am I basically out of luck?

yep, you are out of luck for a while. my suggestion is that if you got it from a store, return it saying its not working right.

wow, i guess i was luckey, i bought mine from a friend and he had only upgraded to 2.0, and in the first 1.5 hr's of haveing it, i had a 1.5 smile.gif

and as for the 2.5. if homebrew and such isnt such a big thing for you, keep it and just wait. but if the reason you bought it is for homebrew and loaders, try and take it back and get a 1.5 from the store.

You cannot downgrade firmware versions 2.01 and up as of yet.
