Hello

I have a new slim psp with the official 3.72 firmware, I also have access to a hacked slim psp with 3.71 M33-2 installed.

What is the best way to downgrade the new psp, can I use the hacked psp or is it a case of getting a Pandoras battery and memory card ?

Thanks for your help

Hi montyw, and welcome to Console-Spot. smile.gif

I think that you can use the Slim PSP (with 3.71 M33-2 installed) to create a Pandora's Battery and Magic Memory Stick to downgrade your new PSP.
I haven't done it myself and don't have a link as such, but there should be something here.
I think you might need to use the normal PSP battery in the Slim PSP, but I'm not completely sure.
There's a "Install from a Slim" section in the guide here.
It also says that the Pandora GUI v1.5 has a "Slim + Lite" tab, so I think it's possible.

Sorry for the disjointed post, hopefully you get some useful information from it.

Thanks for the reply adw888 - I'll go and have a read up on making a Pandora battery - I was hoping it would be as easy as removing the battery from the moded psp and putting it into the new one but there seems to be a bit more to it than that.

I'll post back how I get on.

Cheers
