Friggin Sweet! Only On PLAYSTATION 3 Ad Wows

A new PLAYSTATION 3 advertisement has surfaced today, displaying the new ad campaign that Sony had recently announced.

If there is one word to describe the commercial, it's "wow". Give it a watch.






EDIT: In case anyone is interested I converted both movies to full resolution mp4 format for your psp. You will need a psp with fw 3.30 or above to watch. Just put the files in your video folder.

What an ad! I loved it

Wow....I am impressed, those were some great adds, it'll make my future owning of the PS360 all the sweeter, the two best nextgen consoles.

they used all their time making crazy ads, they should get few more exclusive titles

Im sure the part of sony that makes the ads are completely seperate from the part that gets exclusives. Plus there are enough exclusives to please me over the next 6-8 months. If u know nothing bout the ps3 then i suggest you dont talk.

lol. A big corporation like sony has many different parts, one of which is the advertisement department. The gaming department is completely separate and has nothing to do with who makes the ads.

man these adverts make me want a ps3 even more!!!

ads r supposed to make u wanna buy it? good job to the AD department of sony -.- ... least they can cover up the failure that the PS3 really is... and this ad is awesome yes.. i was rlly impressed by it, but either way... ppl buying a ps3 because of this AD are in for a disappointment. this is my opinion, feel free to rip on it if your self-esteem is low. anyways i didnt come to argue in this forum, bottom line is AD is excellent but do research before you buy, please. PS3 is not for everyone, just proud Sony owners, and well... gamers who do not want a 360 for whatever reason, maybe ur taste in gaming is different. If anyone knows the band/song from this AD please lemme know. thanks

How exactly is the ps3 a failure??? How can u tell when its been out a year that it will fail???

Ok.. its making a fraction of the sales of the Wii and 360 and its game library is less than satisfactory, pretty much all that is good is Ratchet and heavenly sword. plus you could cook a chicken on the ps3 , not to mention its super bulky. but aside from ALL THAT, its an ok system?

Actually the ps3 sales have been better than the 360 sales this month. Ps3 has sold the same amount as the xbox did in its first year even though the ps3 is more expensive. The 360 didnt have any next gen competition in its first year. The wii is outselling the 360 aswell.I thought resistance was a great game. Ive got haze, uncharted, gt5, MGS4, killzone 2 to look forward to and thats only a few. Who cares how big it is? i dont. Plus wasnt it the 360 that had problems with overheating, so u could cook a chicken on that too?

PS3 has zero reports of overheating, where are you getting 500 degrees from? How many 360s have you gone through already? lol
These ads are awesome, but certain people had to come in here and randomly add some hate to the topic for no good reason, this actually wasn't a 360 vs ps3 topic. Data, your first post on this thread was gonna start something and I think you knew that as you were typing it.

lol Another one of these guys. Explain to me with facts how the PS3 is a failure? Bet you cant. Read my response to another post like this: here. The PS3 has sold just as many units as the 360 did basically in its first year timespan. With the PS3 costing more than the 360 did, but selling the same tell me how thats a failure? Thought so.

I'm not ripping you nor do I have low self esteem but try researching and commenting with actual facts and not opinion next time. So many people bash the PS3, but really have a bunch of nonsense to back up their claims.

1. PS3 is not that much different in size compared to the 360.
2. Maybe the air blows hot, but its damn quiet and doesnt overheat or die like 1/3 of the 360s have. I'd rather have a system that can handle the heat then one that gets the RROD.
3. Theres plenty of good games on the PS3 and even better ones coming out. Currently games like Warhawk, Ratchet, Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Folklore, Eye of Judgement, plus a number of titles that are also on the 360. Coming out lets see, oh Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid, Socom, Gran Turismo, Killzone, Little Big Planet, Tekken, White Knight, + others).

I love the new PS3 ad. It is sweet and shows the versitability of the PS3. It blows away the new 360 ad where children are singing.

This ad is amazing. Of course i like my 360 too but the ads for it blow.

Hey, they're coming down....who's the idiot shunning a system he doesn't even own? I bought one of the first PS3's and it still runs perfect. It's quiet and cool as a cucumber. I've even left it running all night doing calculations for Folding Home. No problems whatsoever. More than I can say for the 360, microsoft boy, I like the 360, but I like the PS3 as well. Microsoft has paid millions on the RROD problem. Fact. Let's deal in facts here not the teenage my system is better than yours rampage.

Sony was always good at advertisement, my favourites are the dustball series for the PSP
