Sony have today released firmware version 3.72 for the PSP. The changelog from 3.71 is shown below as follows:

Support for PLAYSTATION Network titles have been expanded.
Support has been added for [Remote Start]* of the PS3 system under [Remote Play].

*To use this feature, the PS3 system software must be version 2.00 or later.*

Looks like version 2.00 for Playstation 3 will be here with us very soon.

yet another pointless update.

One wonders whether or not they'll ever fix the web browser or add anything usefull.

I disagree, not pointless. Just having remote start makes it worth it because now youll actually be able to use remote play. Before you had to leave your ps3 on, which is stupid.
