In the latest Disney commercials for newly released Disney Blu-ray movies and games Disney is giving the PS3 some added promotion stating that the product "Plays on Blu-ray players and PlayStation 3."

This is great news for Sony and it appears that Disney and Sony have some sort of partnership which has made this type of advertisement a reality.

Apparetly Disney wants to push the Blu-ray format and has chosen it as their format of choice to release all of their key titles on such as the newly released Meet the Robinsons which we reviewed here right on PCN earlier in the week.

It is very smart for Disney to take this approach because if they push the PS3 and it sells more units, that will mean that more people will have Blu-ray players and likely buy more copies of their films in the future.

Disney on Blu-Ray is one of the main reasons I bought my PS3. For the same price as a stand alone Blu-Ray player why not right.

Its also called spam.

Thats mad crazy! I just hope that I can get a hdtv to experience the full experience sometime soon.....but my custom computer is lookin pretty good too. choices, choices...
