Full Version: Halo DS

Remember the whole Halo DS debacle? It is a rumour that has been championed largely by IGN’s Nintendo guru, Matt Cassamassina, who has been extremely vocal about the game’s existence. Cassamassina has consistently put his credibility on the line, insisting that he has actually seen it in the face of many embarrassing failures for it to show up when he said it would.

Well it looks like he was telling the truth all along as a video that has been circulating on the internets for the last month or so illustrates. Apparently the game was in development but was canned for reasons that Cassamassina is reluctant to disclose. Nay sayers have been claiming the game being played in the video is a hoax and is merely a modded game made using the Goldeneye: Rogue Agent engine.

Either way we think Halo DS would be a wonderful thing; especially considering the wi-fi multiplayer possibilities. So if you agree but feel powerless to make your opinion felt, it might be a good idea to sign the Halo DS petition. There aren’t many signatures yet, but your vote might help change that – BELIEVE! (oh yes, I went there
