A friend of mine bought a psp last week and it came with the 2.0 firmware. Myself i have an older psp with the 1.5 firmware and im loving every minute of it. I know my friend wont be able to download and play the games on his psp but is it the same with the homebrew apps? And if it is are there any way of downgrading to the 1.5 firmware without destroying your psp?
Very grateful for all the help i can get.

No only some homebrew works on 2.0 using 2.0 eboot loader (google it)yes there is a way to downgrade to 1.5.

thanks for ur answer mate. Found a thread on the forum on how to downgrade...guess its up to him if he thinks its worth the risk or not. Again, thanks for ur help.
