hey i was wandering if if anyone has heard of the ds emulator for the psp well i would actually i would like to expand on to this in making it better the only problem is that i know little to nothing about programming however i do have a few ideas if someone wants to expand on the code.

1. make new interface

the interface would be that the top screen is on the left side of the screen while the touchscreen is on the right side however i think it would be good if you could alternate depending on if your left or right handed. The menu button would be holding the l and r buttons for 5 seconds. the anolog stick would be replicating the stylus while pressing r would be the touching part then the d pad would be the dpad and the x= a o=b x=x y=y

2. the ovious make faster if you could at least get up 2 10fps this would be a start and people might actually belive that this could work

3.increase the amount of ds games capable

4. once the homebrew touchscreen comes out we could actually try to program this into the code if this ever comes onto the market

how do u guys like my ideas please comment and if anyone would like to help me work on this please comment im actually doing a lot of research in programming to try and find out more so if theirs any tips or pointers please tell me

id rather get a ds than play that stuff on my psp..I dont even like ds's
ctrain92
ok but lets just say that we wouldnt want to buy a ds it is like what 120 something like that that is kind of expensive

Using the control stick for a stylus sounds like a bad idea. Besides, they barely have Daedelus running, isn't the DS far more advanced than the N64?
ctrain92
yeah kinda but not really i actually think the graphics and that kind of stuff is worse it only looks as good because its on a small screen
wahtehfawk
the DS is really fun to play tho the graphics arent that great actually they suck
but i think the DS has more fun games then the PSP
and most of its games are playable on wifi
ctrain92
aright look first of all psp is supposed to be a portable and usually half the time u dont have internet so that doesnt matter and if the graphics suck that bad how come its so hard to emulate it

The DS has two screens and one is touch screen. I could imagine that being hard to work with.

There's already a few emulators on the PC for it, it's just that it's not complete and buggy. It's not being further developed either afaik. The source code is available if you want to play around with it.

aright well thats y with the touchscreen you make it the anolog stick for now until i would find a new solution

if you have a decent job you should be good tongue.gif

and its going to take a while for this Emu to get full speed.. if it does
ctrain92
ok once again it doesnt have to get to full speed just a playable you guys at this point dont even believe it can be done in my eyes everything can be dont if you just try watch if someone got it running at even 10fps it would be some progress and then more and more would start believing

i second that.

would be weird with touchscreen
unknown_knight
Thats a pretty good idea but it might take too long because of the touch screen and you might have to tile the PSP side ways to be able to play the emulator. But other than that everything looks doable.

So Good Luck...smile.gif
