im looking for a program which will backup my dvds onto my computer in as near as possible perfect quality but so I can also watch it on my computer without the dvd disc. does anyone have any ideas?

Why can't you just download the DVD's from other sites, it just saves you doing it yourself and there are DVD Rips.

Look for a program called dvd decrypter. That rips the dvd files ot the pc, then u just find a converter that does dvd to avi (For pc watching uwant the video format avi). Or for a shorter way just find a program that lets u put the disc in and automatically convert to avi. Im not sure if there is a program thatdoes it but their probably is. google is your best friend here lol.
