A huge rumour is floating around that Halo developer Bungie may be seperating from its owner Microsoft. However it is based on a email someone claims to have recieved from "A friend of mine who has someone close that works at Bungie". According to the email Microsoft is letting Bungie split as a thank you for the billion $ Halo franchise, with ms keeping the rights to it. This rumour seems way too crazy to be true, as the loss for ms would be huge.

Man, I doubt that's true. The guy who said that probably just said it for popularity or some other dumb reason.

I went to Rooster Teeth's site and they said it was true. Maybe it's just a rumor they accidentally bought into? They've been extremely successful with Microsoft's funding, and I'd like to see what they do next.

I think this is true as well. I have seen many credible sources saying the same thing. I think it was even talked about on G4 last week. After Halo 3 I think they have the money to leave Microsoft and venture out on there own!

Wow i wounder if bungie would move to sony if thats true, that would be a major upset to thoese 360 fanboys
