I prefer Futurama.

used to think Simpsons was untouchable but with the recent episodes which rely on violence to Homer resulting in comical bleeding i have to like Futurama now.

By the way, this thread is not meant to be in competition with the other one. I have posted this on other forums before, and when I saw the other one, I decided to post it here too. Please don't think of me as a noob for posting this.

Simpsons. Even though it has gone downhill a bit. In general it is much more classic than Futurama.

i have to go with simpsons. Its the greatest animated series. everyone knows homer and bart lol. Everyone has heard "DOH!" lol.

Futurama is good but to consider it better than simpsons it had to last longer than 72 episodes. look how long simpsons has gone for, sure some episodes suck but its been 20 long years.

i fell out with the simpsons for a couple of years but the movie + season 18 and 19 so far have been hilarious

After the movie, I've really become a huge fan of the Simpsons. I have nearly every box set. I find it a brilliant show. Yes, it has fallen downhill lately, but the this year's episodes are actually pretty good.

However, the other day I pulled out my Futurama DVDs and it hit me hard. You just can't beat Futurama, even if it was strapped to a brick wall blindfolded.

Im most likley too old to watch either anymore. Nevertheless, sometimes when I come home from work the simpsons is on. I would definatly say that the newer shows (on sky one here in the UK) are quite good but the movie was nothing spectacular. Then, futurama is not that bad either- but like the simpsons its nothing special....

simpsons on Fox HD is my thing. They never get old. I've been watching since I was a young whipper snapper.

Both But Futurama was better, but then they stopped.

I prefer Simpsons, because really its what started everything.
I have the first 10 seasons dvd and I'll be buying up to S12. stopped caring of the simpsons since then

Futurama has some of the best episodes ever, Benders Big Score is kinda disappointing though, but I'll give it a 2nd chance as I fell asleep near the end

Simpsons, I agree its getting a little stale but after this long it will get that way. its been on forever

simpson is the best...!!

I like futurama because its fresher than simpsons and it cn do more things being in space. Theres only so much you can do with a family of without it seeming far fetched.

I like Futurama more than the Simpsons. The demise of Futurama is surely a huge mistake.
