I was thinking of replacing my faceplate with a new one, due to scratches and to give my PSP a new look. Are any of the non-Sony ones any good? Mainly thinking of the fit and feel/response of different buttons etc. I was looking at the XCM chrome faceplate. Anyone had any experiences of this one?
Cheers

Chrome would look nice.
As far as button response and whatnot, there's no difference between the faceplates.
My only advice is to make sure the area you're working on is totally clean and free of animal hair and dust. The first faceplate I changed was a total disaster for this reason and I could no longer use it.
