M33 Custom Firmware 3.52 Update #4 (3.52 M33-4)

Just a quick one…

QUOTE
* Fixed the bug that caused CRC error when writing to flash usb in the XMB. Now writing is OK.
* Added the new speeds to vshmenu and core, because we forgot in recovery.

AS we didn’t want to release a new update without something new, we worked in making 3.10/3.11 to work with popsloader, and that’s it, the new popsloader plugins supports them. Instruction for 3.10 and 3.11 are same as 3.30: you need pops.prx, popsman.prx and pafmini.prx with the correct names in popsloader directory. And remember that savedata of 3.10-3.30 are incompatible with those of 3.40+. We’ll research if a solution for this is possible.

The update is safe, I can assure you this. Details concerning the recent bricks and whatnot, have a glance over the “README_EN.TXT” file. It’s rather humorous. Kudos Team, stick it to ‘em!

Thanks for posting this Nyght.
I normally check M33's website but I wasn't expecting another update so quickly.
The popsloader is getting really useful now.

Just upgraded. Worked fine.

I just did the update and can confirm that it works fine.
I like how it makes sure that it hasn't been modified by using itself as a key for decryption; genius! biggrin.gif
It seems to have finally gotten through to ps3news/ps2nfo/ps2ownz as well.

For anyone wanting to use the popsloader plugin, I've attached an archive with the required PRX files from 3.10, 3.11, 3.30, 3.40, 3.51 and 3.52.
Just copy the "seplugins" folder to the root of your memory stick and let it overwrite any existing files.
I haven't tested it yet, but it can't brick your PSP so I thought I might as well share them (it takes a while to get them from all the PSAR files).

I don't really understand your question.
To do a full install all you have to do is:
- run the update
- copy the "seplugins" folder from the original archive (M33_1234.rar) to the root of your memory stick
- copy the "seplugins" folder from the support archive (3.52_M33_4_Support.zip) to the root of your memory stick (allowing it to overwrite)
- enter Recovery Mode and enable the popsloader plugin

BTW Nyght, your link to "via psp-hacks", isn't to PSP-Hacks...

Hi.. I still am on 3.40 and I have hesitations on updating to 3.52. Can I ask you guys, what does the POPSLOADER do? Is it required to upgrade to 3.52? Thanks

popsloader is an optional plugin that allows you to choose which firmware's PS1 emulation drivers to use (3.10, 3.11, 3.30, 3.40, 3.51, 3.52).
It is not essential in updating to 3.52 M33.
If you do want to update, you will probably want the 3.52 M33 Easy Installer first.

oo i cant wait to put it on, does it make a big differance

wow. i have been trying to do this the easy way for awhile. Thanks so much

EDIT:

I updated as instructions said... Loaded the stuff from support archive. I loaded up a PSX eboot to the 1.50 GAME folder.

Still don't work. Booted up PSP in recovery mode, and there is no option to select PRX.

I check "Plugins ->" in recovery mode, and nothing is there.

Hmmmmm what did I do wrong? I skipped M33 update 2 and 3, i thought the 1234 update had all i needed.

Wow, I was looking all over for either these prxes or directions for making them. Thanks a bunch.
