3.40 LE v2 UPDATE - Team Wildc*rd

Team Wildc*rd has released an update to its 3.40 LE firmware. The update is a patch that fixes some issues with the initial release of the custom firmware.

Here are the fixes for this version of 3.40* LE v2:

* Removed non-functional File Manager option in the Recovery menu
* In recovery, detects ms0:/PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP and only launches it if it exists
* Fixed problems that kept UMDs from loading properly
* Added support for %__SCE__/__SCE__ homebrew naming style
* Re-enabled the use of GAME150 and GAME340, though you *DO NOT* need them.

Note, however, that you'll need to run this from 3.40* LE to get this patch to work. Also, Team Wildc*rd notes that if you're having an issue with the PSP not starting after you install, go into Recovery mode and disable all of your plugins.

Here's a link to the original post HERE about 3.40 LE and where you need to go to get info about 3.40 LE. After installing LE, then you run the patcher to fix the issues above.

I've included both the download for 3.40 LE and the patcher below. Download and run 3.40 LE first and then the patcher after LE is already installed on your psp.

Good to see that Team Wildc*rd are updating their custom firmware despite the leak.
Hopefully we'll see some competition to 3.52 M33 soon.

Well I can confirm that this works great. I updated myself and my xmb, isos, homebrew, etc all work perfectly.

I too, will wait for the 3.52+ release. There's hardly a point downgrading from M33.
