CUSTOM FIRMWARE 3.40* LE (Leaked Edition) - Team Wildc*rd

This is the initial release of our custom firmware. We completely reverse-engineered 3.10 OE, updated all the tweaks for version 3.40, and added our own sexy patches.

-----------------
3.40*'s features:
-----------------

* Everything you know and love from 3.40 OE-A
* Sexy new SCEP-style recovery menu
* In-XMB configuration menu
* Auto-detection of the kernel needed for homebrew - no need for GAME150 and GAME340; just put it all in GAME

Screenshot of the in-XMB config:

(PLEASE IGNORE that it says 3.51 in the screenshot, its 3.40)

Notes
-----

The new DATA.DXAR file will be placed in the root of your memory stick; feel free to delete it or save it for later once you've installed.

None of the installer files need to stay on your memory stick once 3.40* is installed. You can delete them all.

To view the recovery menu/config menu in the XMB, press R + SELECT

Team Wildc*rd's Shout-outs
--------------------------

* Thanks to Mathieulh and Dark_AleX before all others! They inspired us with their awesome releases. Without them this wouldn't have happened.
* Greetz to poison for making SCEP open-source
* Greetz to eXonet and Malloc.us
* Greetz to Noobz. You continue to be most excellent.
* Greetz to Skylark, adrahil, and our benevolent testers.
* Greetz to Any other website that supports us!

-------------------------------
Team Wildc*rd's Two Minute Hate
-------------------------------

* Greetz to the leaking fags (you know who you are) for being as unoriginal as ever!

P.S. We were also working on a 3.52 custom firmware with even more features which luckily was not leaked. But after recent events, we can no longer be sure if it will ever see the light of day.

well im already on 3.52 m33 so i wont even bother but some of its feature are awesome. if they can implement those features in 3.52 m33 not THAT would be perfect custom firmware. im sensing competition between team wildc*rd and m33.

ZeroX24
There's really no need, it's all really easy to do. I already have it on my PSP
NyghtcrawleR
Zero, do the custom xmb's work as well. Have yet to test this.

I wanna try this out.. but it seems like there's going to be even more cfw's out there.. I do like the recovery, but hopefully the 3.52 version gets released..

I think I'm with the majority here, it looks great but I'll wait for the 3.52 version!

Luckily for me I'm still on 3.40-oe. Anyways, though, it's really nice to see Dark_Alex's stuff being put to use. Maybe he'll make his come back and surprise us all (as Ahman has). If not, at least another team is putting his research and work into development, though I don't like the fact they've "leaked" the information and are just making weak copies of somethings that's been done.
NyghtcrawleR
Firstly, they didnt leak it. Someone stole their code and it forced them to release early. So you should be congratulating them for the work they put in it and saying shame on you to those who stole and leaked the source.

Yeah, everything that worked on 3.40-OE works on LE. Everything works like a charm
NyghtcrawleR
You update to v2 yet, fixes some bugs and such.
Vinnypspyeah
that is nice im getting first hand, looks cool to
ThUgZtaH
hm... so that's why it's called LE... dry.gif reminds me of the movie Italian Job, where a guy claims to be the original author of Napster but a roommate steals his code and publishes it as his own...

Shame on you...
nathanb
i semi brickd when i done this for some reason huh.gif
NyghtcrawleR
