Full Version: Just bought a psp with 2.82 firmware on it
Ok so i got a psp it has 2.82 firmwareI want to run genesis/megadrive games, PS1 games,using ISO from memorys stick, snes, all the old school emulators but i also want to be able to play UMD games without my downgrading/upgrading being to wasteis there a way to do this? im prepared to buy a copy of Lumines but is there a specific version i need?what custom firmware do i need etc?Can anybody help with a quick step by step guide??Also the psp was a gigapack if that makes any difference??

basically you need to downgrade your psp & install a custom firmware inorder to do all the stuff that you wanted... yes you will need the lumines umd since your psp is already 2.82 but you should get the unpatched lumines coz there are already some patched version... the giga pack makes no difference since whether if it is downgradable or not, for the mother board the downgrader will automatically patch your psp if it is a ta-082...
Ok you need yo either buy an unpatched version of gta liberty city stories or lumines. Ur best bet is ebay. Either way tho ur guna need one.Do NOT do any official updates to ur psp intill u have one of the discs. Once you have the disc get the downgrader for whichever xploit youll be using.
