I wanna know if we could start a list of psone games that work on the psp and the appropriate game ID associated with that game to prevent crashes and other errors. If this has been done already, can you please send me a link directing me to that list. If it hasn't, I'd think it'd be really help fully to all of us who are getting frustrated going through the process of getting the games on the psp then finding out that it crashes.

Hey everyone, the reason I'm starting this topic is because I recently started to put PSone games on my psp. When I tried to put resident evil 2 on my psp, it worked fine up until police station. It seems i ran into the common problem of the game crash to the black screen and fixed it by searching the forums and changing the game ID. I wanna thank everyone who posted the fix for that. I also attempted to put brave fencer musashi but it doesn't load after the intro cutscene even when i skip it. I though it was my iso but because of my experience with RE2 i believe it might be the game IDs.

from what I've read on various forums using the japanese psx id will usually sort out any problems. Luckily I have a text file that contains all the psx codes for pal, ntsc-u and ntsc-j.

See the attachment for the file and try changing the id's if you have problems on any games.

Alternatively you could use simplepopstation and that has a psx id selector in it which will let you assign the japanese id to the games.
