I have a few q's on modding a 360. ok:
1. how do i kno what drive i have?
2.how do i load up an extreme fw?
3.can i use xbox live?
4.can i use backups on xbox live?
5.wots the chance it will kil my 360?
any help would b great!

1. as far as i know you gotta open it up and look
2.google video search textbook 360 firmware, if you cant find it and i`ll send you the link later
3.sapposed theres a firmware mod that wont detect it, but basicly your playing a game a chance

5.acually, i dont know, but it will only mess up your dvd drive, whic is replaceable for under $50

MicroSoft will doccument, and ban your console ID if you're found with modified FW on XBOX Live. I've seen multiple reports from different sources, all claiming the same thing: they have to buy a new XBOX360. This is, again, due to the fact that they document the CONSOLE ID. This can't be changed at this time, and if you're caught you'll have to shell out another $300-$400 if you buy a brand new system. You could really enjoy solo play though!
