Ok,

So I have reformatted my hard drive for the second time in two months. I'll shut it down some night, then the next morning it will not boot. The error is something like partition goes beyond the physical or logical part of the drive. But I have no idea how this can be fixed. Anyone run into this before? I'd like to just repair it rather than wiping it. Any help appreciated.

I don't think you have a virus or anything, it seems more like a hardware problem. Your HD's days might be over. Yopu might need a new one, hopefully you backed up your data.

I think he said he formatted it twice, so I doubt he has any info on it.
