Basically, ''argue with allsorts111'' is something which we can use as a feature on pc-spot. However, i would like to trial it. Initially, id like to state that its simply a heated debate- which will be kept as a debate and nothing else. I have high hopes for this. Each week we will pick a topic. This discussion will be done via windows live/msn at set times.
This weeks topic: immigration. (OKAY LETS CHANGE IT...ANY SUGGESTIONS)

Basically it's sorta like a..contest.

Every week we pick a topic....example....Rainforest Clearing

Allsorts will have his view on it, which might be that he likes rainforests getting cut down.

He chooses an allocated time and we go on MSN Messenger and argue with him

yea this seems more suited for the rant and rave section. an i fought it was stuff like this that made ppl fall out with each other, arguing about things. i mean am all for a debate!!! but not if its gona cause friction

i rekon it'll be better on the forum insted of MSN coz ppl can see every1s replys, and new members can join in even if they wernt here wen it started coz they can just read up on it

I'm just not into that sort of thing, but there is no need for me or anyone else to be against it. Just tips for those who will debate.

1) Know that is all in fun, some will argue something that they really don't believe in just to heat up the debate.
2) Don't take it personal, somebody WILL say something to piss you off, argue your point but don't hold a grudge if someone is mean to you.
3) When the debate is over leave your feelings there. Don't let it carry over to disrupt your relationships here or anywhere. The purpose of these is to stimulate thought and to just have fun.

If you can't handle these simple little suggestions please don't go.

I'd like to state that the above will form part of our rules. Please be aware that even though the ''debate'' will be held elsewhere it is connected to psp-spot and the same rules apply. However, i do accept the fact that things will get heated and some rules would need to be relaxed. Please bear in mind that as admin and a representative of the sites, its code of conduct and terms i will enforce the rules.

I think we should just have a topic, lol that would definitely get 1000 posts if you keep going on it. Also, have a judge monitoring it and decide a winner.

Preferably an admin who doesn't take part so they can make everyone follow the rules too.
