I was just going to post this. I think its rediculous. The kids might of been egging it on, BUT, the cop lost it. Putting the girl and boy in a choke hold like that was uncalled for! If I was there I would be in jail right with them seeing him take that girl the way he did I would of retaliated!

thats what im saying if i was there i probably would have got arrested too. why wouldnt one of those kids try and stand up for their friend/s like they did when seeing their friend get mis treated? then he got pissed off at them too when they did. i mean seriously its a ticketable offense at best. the only kid he didnt aggressively go after was the one with the camera and he listened. id say if he did the same thing calmly to the other kids they would have listened too. but hell if i was a kid and a cop was out of control id try and get away too.

Well you guys should ease up on them. As someone who does not live in the country that the incident took place in i can understand why the police officers wanted to get it over as quick as possible and not tolerate problems. If the police dont handle things sternly then everyone will break the law- not matter how small the breach is. You've also got to look at if there have been any serious issues, i mean crimes against the police in that area or by skaters...
And for gods sake i would have done what the police officer did in his position!

it would be different if they were in an isolated area. or the cop was in danger. but they were in the middle of downtown and they didnt show any open aggression towards the cop. the most they did was ask the cop wtf and tell the cop to calm down on the other kid. the cop was just having a bad day or something and decided to take out his aggression on the kids. im not talking about the first kid we dont know what happened before that. even though choking the kid was probably out of line. but you are saying you would have choked the girl and the other kid for going wtf we were just skateboarding? skateboarding is a ticketable offense at best. its like j-walking or double parking. both violations of city ordinance. would the cop have waited for the a person that parked illegally to arrest them?

Theres no point in having them; they are stupid and worthless. I will never phone the police and society will be better without them.

Nevertheless, in some country's the police don't help people. However, here in the UK theres two ways to look at it. Being a victim or a criminal. 99% of victims will probably turn to the police for help, whether they like them or not!

i never said i dont respect the cops. but its a fact that certain cops are out of control and are on power trips or just corrupt and give the good cops a bad reputation. that given reputation would make a person wary of going to a cop that they view as being overly aggressive and out of control. the second cop that showed up was calm and he was right next to the other cop. but he wasnt choking people and goin crazy because the situation didnt call for it. im a believer in the fact that the united states gives real criminals too many rights. but what happened here was just wrong. you have to understand that in the united states there are many corrupt cops and cops that are on power trips. there have been many incidents of cops beating people within an inch of their life for no reason. or sodomizing an immigrant with a nightstick. while i believe cops should be able to take violent criminals down by any means necessary especially when it is life and death. i dont see any of what he did as necessary in the given situation.

in my opinion pigs are scum. there is a VERY small number of pigs that are alright, but all the rest are complete w***ers. most of em are just on power trips. am not sure if any1 saw that program on channel 4 ages ago bout a woman reporter became a pig an secretly filmed wat they did, an 99% of them used bad language (an yes i kno i swore, but thats different, pigs are payed to do a public service an that no way to act) she filmed them playing cricket in a coridor while they were ment to working and she also filmed them when about 5 cops cars wud go out at midnight an play hide and seek in there cars, sickens me bunch of w***ers!!!!!!!!!!

Like i said, it depends on what country your in and your own first hand experiences.. In fact why the heck do you think that show was on TV- because there was nothing positive! The show would get people talking about the show itself, thus making the show more popular and getting channel 4 money!

well if it was a show about how great and how the police service is perfect and nothing wrong with u think it wudve been put on tv??? i dont get yr point there, are u denying wat was shown on that tv program was fake??
