I was rewatching clerks 2 with the lord of the rings part, and it got me to thinking which one was really better. I choose star wars, because it looks so futuristic and stuff like that. I also choose star wars because i dont really like games, movies, or things that have magic in it. My opinion.

The star wars films were way aheads of its time. I liked lord of the rings but i couldnt watch it over and over, like i do with star wars. I hope we are talking bout the original trilogy cause the new ones sucked

Yeah, the Lord of the Rings: Fellowship was the best one. The second and third were below my expectation.
Star Wars was great. The new ones did suck except the episode 3 which I watched so many times.

LOTR for me, but not by much. the Frodo parts were lame but I loved all the side stories.

Just because there are conventions doesnt mean that all people who like the movies are nerds or go to the conventions.

I like Star Wars the best imo. The original trilogy and I think the Episode 3 was well done to all those who say the new ones sucked.

I also like LOTR, just not as much as Star Wars. I think Return of the King was the best due to all the action and fighting sequences.

I also think Don is secretly gay.

To tell you the truth i don't like Lord of the Rings, and i have seen the first movie, i thought it was a bit boring.
but i like Star Wars, i thought the original trilogy was the best too, i didnt like episode two, but it was okay.
