Sup every1 theres a deal on you trade in your ps2 with any 10 games for an xbox 360 and you only pay $200 for it instead of its full price you get the console with 1 controller is this worth it ?

For me personally, I don't think it's worth it.....think of all you have spent for the ps2....and now you will need games, extra controllers and crap for the 360...

which xbox package do you get? core? premium? how much do these cost in austraillia? how much are you actually getting in trade in for the ps2 and games? from what it sounds like it sounds like you are getting a lot for the system so its worth it if you are planning on selling the ps2 anyways. or if the ps2 is just sitting around. they are give you almost as much for it if not more than selling it private party depending on the games included. but it all comes down to what the ps2 is worth to you.

i think those arguments are retarded, thats like saying its never worth selling or trading in a used car because you will be losing 20-30 grand on it because you payed so much more for it or saying might as well keep a computer you never use when you buy a new one because its not worth selling it because you spent so much on it. whats the difference if it will never get used again, and it will just collect dust and take up space. is it worth more in the closet?. it all depends what you want now and if you will use it or not, of course you will almost never get close to what you paid for something. there are very few appreciating assets. but if he never uses it or just doesnt want it anymore why not. its not like he is going to get more money for it later if he decides to sell it. might as well get what you can for it while you can unless you plan on keeping it forever. ive seen pstwo slims sold for as little as 50-60 bucks used for a few months just because people didnt want them anymore. i sold my xbox for 50 bucks because i didnt touch it for 2 years and it was just taking up space and collecting dust. i payed 300 for it when it came out too

But the thing is whats the point of keeping the ps2 if i never play it and i get a XBOX360 60gb hard drive with 1 controller i no its not worth it but better then leaving my ps2 in the garage collecting dust

Halo 3 is coming out soon for 360 and so is Halo Wars and its gonna be fcken awesome

I would do it in a heartbeat. All you have to do is trade all that stuff in and get your 360. Then if you miss your PS2 go back on ebay and buy one for 50 bucks or less. I think it was Bombers that said the 360 is like 800AU or even more down there, so its very worth it price wise.

Yeah, im going to have to agree on this one, although i think i am because i think the 360 is awesome. Probably because i grew up with it. But if it was up to me, i would. I wish that offer was here. I have a ps2 i dont use and about 20 ps2 games that are worth less than a bottle of water...
