Got 3.40 firmware. Yeah, moron me. And the games won't run. I've searched but haven't found the info i'm looking for. some say they'll work, others wont...
So will PSX games work on 3.40? If so..... how?

psx will run if you buy them or have oe, since you have 3.4 nothin you can do.

if you install amodchip which is fairly cheap now .... then you can chane firmwares to an oe to play psx games fo free.... one main problem ... you have to be a really good solderer

Not supposedly. You can. There just isnt a huge library of games currently.
As for psx games. Youll have to wait until you can get on a custom fw which requires you to downgrade first. And currently you cannot downgrade 3.40 official firmware.

Yeah, try selling your psp for another one which has a firmware which u can downgrade. Or u can wait for a 3.40 downgrader, but remember, no one says for sure that there will even be a downgrader for 3.40.
