I was just wondering what firmware is needed to play the latest games like Legend of The Dragon and Pro Evo 2007.

I'm running 3.03.c.

If its higher Do i need to upgrade?

Any info would be helpful

im not too sure to be honest but the highest ive ever seen is 2.82. i know for a fact that you wont need to update as no games use above 3.03

Well it depends if your dowloading the latest demos from sony offical website you need the latest firmware but if you want to play isos etc i think you will have no problems with 3.03.c.

well theres like 2 games that dont work on 3.03Oe-C like 1 is vallahala nights and i dont remember the other one

What do you mean the highest you have seen is 2.82?

I wonder the same thing, is it still below 3.03? And how long do you folks suspect it'll stay that way. There are a few games coming out in August I want hopefully the Updates on t3h UMD won't be over 3.11.

I think the game 300 requires 3.03 im not sure tho

If you want all games to work, go for Fw 3.40oea. thats what im on and im pretty happy with it, no problems.

Yeah hit up 3.40oe and you'll be right with the latest and greatest. And you an always go back if you choose to! I gave up 3.03oe-c about 3 months ago and havent looked back since!

I am using 3.40 OE A. It seems good enough to play most all the games

dude 3.03oe-c is th best u can be on!!! dont go 3.30 or 40 because then u cant downgrade..... 3.03oe-c plays anything!!!!!
