hey guys im back wit the same psp if you remember me anywho heres the story...
my PSP was messed up just a while ago. it had fell into a puddle during the lil nor'eastern we were having and it was workin but the O button was not. so i finally opened up my psp and saw some oxidation where the button boards cable connects to the mobo, whiped it clean and it works now... no my issue is my joystick. it is continually goin northwest, so i cant really play anygames yet. i checked to see if there was something on the 4 contacts but there is not, i did notice though if i touch my screwdriver to the bottom contact the movement stops.. anyone have any idea what that could be or how i could stop it and have a working psp?

Pretty sure if you buy a new joystick it comes with the contact board and since u have been inside and played with the ribbon cable already then install should be a snap

the problem is with the contacts on the mobo not the actual joystick itself

I think they do, be careful, they might be the remains of a bricked PSP
Also, they have the whole joystick bit on Ebay too

is your problem like this
you play a game and the joystick(analog stick?) keeps going it one direction constantly ?
I have this problem although it goes south for me and its because i dropped it exactly 1.354 million times.
so where can i get a new analog stick

& are there any tested instructions to replace it ?
thanks.
