I have a 2.71 that im trying to downgrade to 1.50! well so far when i click on the phot icon to run the downgrade the screen locks up and then the psp turns off!!! i can see the memory stick light on it doesnt blink it's just steady on! any help would be helpful!!! thanx

Hm I've never downgraded from 2.00+, so I don't know, are you sure you are using the right downgrade method? You aren't using the 2.00 one?

Please give some more info such as the steps you take

Re-read the instructions to make sure you are doing everything right.
Then just keep trying it until you get the green screen, it usually takes 7-8 attempts.

Its normal when that happens, my first attempt worked straight at one shot, guess i was lucky, you may need to do it several times or more before it takes effect, thats how the software was made.

OK i got it down now..thanks for your replies NOW....i have another problem...why is i that when i put 4 or more games in my 8gb stick when i go to check them out only 3 or so comes out???? not all of them show up? does anyone know what the deal is with this? thaks

did you stay on 1.5 fw or upgrade to custom? if you are still on 1.5 upgrade to a custom fw the firmwares below 2.71 i believe had trouble recognizing 4gb memsticks so i assume 8gb memsticks would have the same problem. if thats not the problem i hope you didnt buy your mem stick off ebay.

try other games that one might have issues wih it....

sorry guys i messed up and i ment a 4gb stick! sorry about that. But still i have 3.03 firmware! you think thats the problem? when i had my 2gb i used to max it out and you would still be able to see all the games in it now that i upgraded it only shows a few...i tried different games and they are all the same....they don't show up!

did you get the stick on ebay? sounds like a classic problem found with fake mem sticks. if not then i dont know.

yeeeah! ( i didn't know they where fake and wouldnt work! oh well maybe i can use it on my camera! so what's the deal if it's fake? it's not really 4gb? i guess i have to go buy a real one so that i can fit all my games in it right?

Im pretty sure its 4g, just that they are fake and don't function properly.
