umm your psp is semi-bricked. you still can recovery to 1.50 or get the flash files for 3.10 oe-a. you can only recovery on custom firmware.
joepsplle
Check whether you have the wifi slider is "on", "off" it and charge your PSP again.
DEvok
Try running recovery mode. when you try to turn it on is it just a blank screen with the power icon green or orange?
living199
he said that it wont charge so it cant be bricked can it?

you can send it to sony but they will most probably update it to fw 3.40

do you know anyone with a psp? try and test their battery and see if it still doesnt turn on. it sounds like its just not getting any power.
bdiddyb
ive got 2 different batteries ive got the official psp one that came with it and a datel x2 battery and neither are working
ZeroX24
I think it's more of a hardware issue than firmware. Maybe the thing that regulates power in the psp isn't working or is burned out.
bdiddyb
could be im gonna use a voltmeter on the charger just in case thats the reason its usually the stupidest things that cause the problems lol if it isnt then im gonna have to phone sony i guess
Lysol
just keep trying dude its gotta come around sooner or later. right?
bdiddyb
hopefully im gonna give it another couple days trying a few things and if nothing comes of it i'll go to sony
evol edo
but if its been a month both batteries should be dead. and if the plug isnt charging it that may be why. thats why i asked if you knew someone else to see if its the psp or a power issue.

Yeah, he's correct, you need to test the batteries first and if it works, it should be either your baterry or your charger that giving you the problem.
REDMAN!
boot recovery then fiddle with your settings not too much though ask what to change first , i had that same problem w/ 3.4 oe

My PSP Fully briked last night. sad.gif
I had 3.40 OEA.

This moring I phoned Sony, told them my PSP wasn't working and they're sending me a new one on friday. smile.gif

The firmware will probabaly be 3.40 or 3.50 so I'll most likely have to buy a PSP from e-bay to get homebrew back.

On friday I'll let you all know what firmware it comes with.

Heres the number to phone Sony, its a fast way to turn a brick into a PSP

Sony (UK & Northern Ireland) Tel: 08705 99 88 77

Remember when you phone Sony, never mention that you had custom firmware and dont say it bricked, just say it crashed during a firmware update and it wont turn on.

I hope this helps?

Damn, you should have just returned it and bought a new one!
You could have easily got a low FW version off Ebay!

test it with one of your friends battery and charger. Or go to sony with it.
