This only happens on my laptop but not my desktop please help or give a reason on why this happens. My psp firmware is 3.03oe-c thanks

If it only happens on your laptop, it's probably something to do with the USB ports on your laptop.
Maybe they're only USB1.1 or something. That's all I can think of at the moment.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Sorry im not sure what the problem is, however I CAN tell you that it has nothing to do with USB 1.1 because I use it all the time for my PSP (because my computer sucks to hell.)

yeah the difference between usb 1.1 and 2 .0 just has to do with transfer speed should not be a reason for the error. cyclic errors usualy show up when the file being transfered has an interruption in the data from missing or corrupted data such as from a scratched cd or a bad hd sector.

Your Laptop probably has somthing wrong with it. If your psp is still working with this error, you should be afraid of it getting messed up. You would have noticed

I suspect the memory card had some bad sector or maybe you can use the Chdks disk method to check your memory card. Otherwise backup your files and format your card.

The USB connectors might be twisted or damaged.

Could work too

Might sound obvious, try cleaning it...

Good luck
