I have a few Sandisk (solid blue colour) memory sticks, and none of them are "chipping away".
What have you been doing to them?

maybe he uses the psp springloaded eject to shoot them across the room.

maybe they are made of cardboard.no really it might be a fake memory stick.

It would be fun if it was sprung enough to do that though...

It probably is a fake memory stick, but still I haven't heard of chipping; it's normally the actual chip that has a problem, rather than the plastic casing.

You mean chipping as n physically? Or like memory being deleted
Either one, you probably got a fake

If you bought a sand disk MS for the psp, it shout be inside of the psp, unless your using a card reader. most people use a usb anyways, besides that, how could the Ms be chipping? even if its fake it shouldnt chip, unless you meant you snapped peices of the Ms it thats what you mean, because there no way it could chip itself.

xDD now with this crisis we'll surely have to worry about this senerio "Dude what happend to yer eye?" "Y'know Billy right?" "Yeah." "Well ya see he shot his mem stick clean out of his PSP and into my eye." like the saying goes "It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye then it's hilarious!"
With that aside my guess is as the others have said you've probably got a fake mem stick. I have had my mem sticks for ages some are even hand-me-downs from my friends I have bent mine dropped it stepped on it, and never once has mine chipped nor broke.
