So I had a couple psp csos and a NES and SNES emus. But for some reason after downloading a rip of megaman x4, they just don't work any more. It says "the game could not be started (80020321)"

I was just playing burnout then loaded mega man. Played for a couple of minutes and when I went back to burnout, it wouldn't load... Do the psx games do that to psps? Thanks in advance for any help since i'm truly stumped

Oh yeah i deleted megaman but the problem remains...

Maybe the Megaman game interfered with the PSP games, try putting the PSP games back on

The only thing that I took off the ms was the megaman eboot thingy and the save file for mega man. I never took the other games off, but I'll take some off and put them back on. I hope this works... I was really getting into burnout... sad.gif

well did it work before? and also did u change the coldboot because that could be the problem too

Well I'm not experienced enough to know how to change any boot settings but my set up is and went like this...

I downloaded some csos and was playing them. Then I heard you could play psx roms and you didn't even need an emulator. So I look for sites that have some and found a couple. The first file I put on the ms was a RIP of megaman x4... So I stick in in MS:/PSP/GAME/megamanx4

Then I quit out of the game and went to burnout and clicked it. It loads the psp screen but then goes into the error I described before.

Now I figured the rom must have done something to my set up so I tried putting a legend of mana psx rom in the GAME150 folder (don't ask, I just had to try something.... Anything...) And it did the same error. Now I moved it back to ms:/..../Game and it works fine. (the psx game anyways)

Is this the first time any of you are hearing about this problem?

I mean I can at least play psx games and the nes emulator I got on it still works, but the emulator starts up as if it was the first time, every time. (It won't remember screen settings, button layout, etc. It's starting as default no matter what)

do you have a umd in the drive? thats the error i get when there is no umd

Well I was totally drunk last night and I think I used to have loco roco in the drive but this morning I don't. Let me find it and see if that fixes the problem.

EDIT:

Found my umd... Tried again... And it works.

I have lots of stupid drunk moments like that tongue.gif And thanks for all the help.

I'm not new to forums, and I usually wait 6 months to a year to donate anything. But I'm so gung ho about the psp that I may just drop some cash from my next paycheck here. Wouldn't hurt to support the site I guess laugh.gif

Anyways thank for helping me out guys. (I seriously love my psp a little more every day)

I'm gonna save up and buy one for my bro and for two of my friends. Gonna cost a lot but it's such a good device, I seriously can't believe that they only charge 170 usd for it.

I was really into xbox 360, 'til my bro wouldn't get the hell off of it! (Damn you Final Fantasy XI!!!) But now I'm obsessed with psp! It's like crack.
