Ok so I bought a PSP about a week ago and when I got it home I realized that the internet wasn't working. I took it in and exchanged it for one that has a working internet connection but when I took it home to use it I realized the damn thing still has a password on it! I tried to use the usual 0000 through 9999 codes to get in but apparently this guy didn't want anybody using his internet.

I downloaded the newest update for the PSP and that will get installed as soon as the battery finishes charging but I really doubt that the update will bypass the password or let me change this.

I called the guys at Gamestop but the only advice they have is to take it back in to exchange for another. The other used models in stock look like crap and I just installed a screen protector before I found this out.

Help anybody?

well 1 dont upgrade. and 2 0000 worked for me when i disabled parental controls. and i only did that to mess around to see what the pascode was. so if that doesnt work i dont know. i always had the passcode disabled so i was not aware that it needed it to run interenet. but from what it sounds like it sounds like saying this guy didnt want anyone using his internet, unless you bought it used from a guy and not from the store. that means you need the passcode to access the wifi. which has nothing to do with the 0000-9999 codes. but if you did buy it from a guy get the code from him
