listen guys when i got my psp it was version 2.81 or something. i asked some of you guys how i can play downloaded games on it. The replies i got told me that it was not possible unless my firmware was 1.5 So i was told that you cant downgrade from 2.81 to a 1.5. therefore someone on here told me to upgrade it to a 3.03, which is what i am on now. so can someone please tell me what to do know. im sick and bloody tired of buying games. how do iget it from 3.03 to 1.5, and once ive done that how do i get games on it. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. hahahahaha

I really hope that whoever you talked to here told you 3.03 oe and not Sony 3.03. If you are at 3.03 golden post back and we will get you started. If you are at Sony 3.03 you are in worse shape than before as there is no downgrade at all for that version. I am sorry if you misunderstood and VERY sorry if someone mislead you. I hope a fix will come out for your fw version soon...

there is a 3.03 downgrader on these forums somewhere. just use the search

yes as was stated you need gta:lcs unpatched, thats the one with the 2.0 update on it, to downgrade from 3.03. so hopefully that is one of the games you hated buying. if not you have to find one. then you can use the file in the link phlak posted. im assuming since you have 2.81 you have a ta-082/86 mb. i dont know if the link phlak posted is a corruption free downgrader but it will work. but they have corruption free downgraders for 3.03.

well from 2.81 you have to go to 3.03 before downgrading to 1.5
