K, I used Keycleaner so USB Hosts shouldnt have an issue, back when they did XP said the driver didnt contain any info about my device so maybe the PSP never showed up right..

I have Vista now on my Laptop but PSP Host and PSP Extreme Link dont work!!!

Is there a Vista program for USBHosts?

If not I am plaaning on putting Kubuntu on my Laptop so is there an app for that? Could I Wine PSP Host or Extrmeme Link? Or use a Linux version of a USB Hosts app?

Or maybe a VM? I am thinking of VMing 98 and/or XP..

This is plain spam, you will get a warning for this

Back to the topic

Try VMing XP, if XP is what works

PSP Host is a program is it? It might not be compatible with Vista, there are quite a few other programs that don't work with Vista too.

Were u reffering to me as spam or lefty555??

Anyways, I want to know if Vista apps even exist. Would a WM work, or would Vista trasnfer problems over, I doubht this would be part of Vista's DRM since it doesnt even work and probably doesnt even know what a PSP ISO is, probably more focused on MP3 and MP4 audio/video..

I think it was quite obvious that he was referring to lefty555.

Back on topic, there's something you could clarify RealG187; did you manage to get USBHostFS to work using Windows XP in the first place? It sounds like that it didn't work with XP (which is odd and may indicate another problem, not Vista).

u could always download a windows xp program on vista, right click on the icon and choose properties--compatibilty--and then choose windows xp

Back when I used XP that was before I had the keycleaner, the problem was clearly with my PSP as XP didnt even install the driver, now the driver installed but the problem is with my PC since it wnt even run, before I downgraded I used a
1.5 version of Devhook while emulating 1.5 via 2.71 Devhook it froze or just showed the UMD, but the PSP would show the ISO, upon downgrade couldnt even do that, keys fixed but now PC wont connect I might have to boot up the old PC and try..

my problems are on da psp end, i used da same devhook i did back when i was at 2.71 w/ hen c emulating 1.5! dat was made for 1.5 only, not 2.71 or oe.
