It frustrates me when it is incapable of loading a single page. Is their anyway that cache can be used from the memory stick? Or better yet is anyone out making some applications to fix this problem? Compared to what is being released in homebrew this doesn't seem like it is an outlandish task.

you could possibly delete cache and go to settings>Cache Settings and change the cache size to "Do not use" or if you want to use the homebrew route you can use
Links 2.1 Standalone. i haven't tried it, but its been downloaded 49 times and no comments saying it doesn't.
but even with the homebrew the psp is still limited to only about 2MB of ram, it hasn't been effected and can't be for now.

if you are trying to load huge pages, of course its going to be slow. what u can try doing is just setting ur psp down where u have a good signal, then just go eat lunch or something. or just stick to pages created 4 the psp

PSP web browser sucks. It's really not good for much. I have removed the flash, and internet tools on my PSP to get extra flash space. Tell you what, I don't miss it at all.
If I were you, I'd stick to using a computer to browse the internet.
