I am pretty sure it's a port of the first one, but that's about all I know. I think it'd be cool if the port the rest over to the PSP as well just imagine playing Devil May Cry 3: SE on yer PSP that would be so PWNING!!1!

why do sony just port everything, they could release new games from the ps2/ps3 to the psp not bringing old games back, im not saying its a bad move, but i would like to see brand new games on the psp, lets say, Final Fantasy Versus XIII or something.

I agree but imagine how much time that would take, though I bet if games like RE4 and DMC3 were ported to the PSP it would sell a lot of PSPs. Sony's handheld just doesn't have that many gems but I am thinking with the few they have and Silent Hill, DMC, CRISIS CORE:FFVII, and GoW all coming to the PSP that the PSP will do somewhat better. To be honest I think Sony should ditch the PS downloads and make them into UMDs they'd make way more money if PS games weren't just avalible to those who had the $600.00 to buy their PS3.

i googled it and i found nothing but the same question on other forums and other places and i found it on wikipedia but the link only redirected me back to the original dmc for the ps2

DMC would kick butt online, but, DMC 3 shouldn't be ported to the psp, it just wouldn't compare to the ps2 version.

DMC does rock. I remember playing the first one on ps2 it was sweet. I love the hitting honsters in the air and shooting them wih 2 pistols. sswwweeeeettt

It would be nice but I don't think it'll be happening, it's going to be a port of the first one. And Devil May Cry on PSP is going to happen so don't worry!



It depends on the generator they use, if they ported Devil May Cry 3 to the PSP and they used the graphics generator they used for Tekken (<the PSP game), or if they used the generator Square Enix is using for Crisis Core then the game could turn out better than it's PS2 counter part. Also this would be a great chance for Capcom to actually give Vergil a storyline I mean c'mon we all know playing as Vergil would have been 1.000 times more fun if it wasn't just Dante's storyline but instead of Dante its Vergil, and no cutscenes I could see a Devil May Cry 3 port for the PSP selling REALLY well!
