There is no other stick then Pro DUO that you can buy for the PSP. I would go with a 4GB if you can afford it!

4GB WOULD be the best you could get if your able to. I went out and got a 512mb before I had a downgraded PSP, and once it was downgraded, the 512mb was out the door. A 4GB would be able to hold any ISO, or multiple ISO's, Save Data, Music, Video or whatever else you want.
Basically, within your price range go for the LARGEST Memory Card you can =P
And ONLY get a ProDuo, others dont always [Most of the Time] work with the PSP

for 40 bucks you can get a 2 gig. just check best buy/frys/circuit city for sales they all had a 2 gig san disk on sale 2 weeks ago for 30 bucks and this week i think circuit city had the 2 gig for 40 bucks. it might have been best buy. either way check the adds and you can always try and have best buy price match. but you should be able to get a 2 gig for 40 bucks. but this was in so cal so id check whatever is local to you

If you have not gotten your memory stick yet, Frys has a 4gig stick for 49.99 with free shipping, no rebates needed. Good luck to you!

i recommend 2 Gb, anything higher just makes you want to put in even more stuff, then later realize that you've don;t need half of what's in your mem stick

i think everyone missed when he said he had 40 bucks at best buy. so most of these suggestions are not valid. i bought my sony 4gb on ebay of course i dont know if its fake or not. im looking to see if i can find out. but it works.

I'm gonna wait for the 32 gb mem stick. Just 2 more generations of development
That'll be my be-all, end-all memory stick for my PSP

that would be like 2 years after it came out. and it probably wont come out for another 2 years so you are going to wait 4 years? by then there will probably be a psp2 using micro mem sticks.

Well, I'm still using the DVD player on my PS2....which came out a whole 7 years ago....so I don't see how it's such a stretch to still be using it in 4 years. Besides, with all the homebrew possibilities, this console will keep me busy for years to come
and there are still some UMD's that I haven't gotten....for me there's still some life in this console
for 4 years? more than likely.....I find that this last generation of games might be the last for me, anyway....

yep, 4GB for me too, but try comparing Sandisk with Sony... my 1 gig sandisk works faster than my 2 gig sony... or is it just me?
