In network theres this thing called Portable TV and when i click on it .. it opens the internet and all this website opens but its all in asian writing :S ?? whats this

Yeah I had the same problem in 3.40 OE-A ultimately put it's a feature exclusive to Japanese PSP's. Be careful and don't fiddle with it too much or it'll currupt your recovery setting and make your PSP unable to function on CFW it happend to mine and now I HAVE to use offical FW because custom won't work right. (the bitch of it is, is that I can't even go to 3.40 official if I wanted to because I have a patched TA-082 mobo.) I miss my PSX, ISO, and homebrew. Ultimately I think it has to do with the fact that patched TA-082 mobos aren't supposed to 3.30+ but that's just a guess

I think mine is "American" PSP [Region1] I was playing around a switched to Fake Region to Japan and have that and PlayStation spot.

So I shouldn't go into this? It will brick?

3.40 offical doesn't run on patched 082s?? If only we could unpatch since the original downgraders are messed up!

It won't brick but it will currupt your recovery setting and changing them will only give you the blue screen saying to press O and it won't restore default settings it'll freeze. Patched 082s can't run anything beyond 3.11 (as of yet) if they used the original downgraders or t3h 3.03 downgrader unfortunately I have no idea as to how safe/easy Chilly Willy's key cleaner is. If someone has tested it let me know if an average homebrew user such as myself can use it safely without worring.

It is japanese and is exclusively for japanese residents at the moment, SONY isn't planning to widen the service in the near future. The portable TV basically lets you download a wide variety of TV Shows or programs (including adult!).

Yeah i thought so because i bought my psp from japan and i went i clicked on it and it had an adult section i tryed going into it but it requested a username and password and i did not no how to create 1 because everything was written in japanese.

Is it free? If they did bring it here would it work on OE, did it brick since the code was for Jap PSPs only and the PSP0001s cant handle the code?

Well what I had ment was it'll currupt the falsh1 and flash2, making the PSP unable to run CFW.

That's horrible, would it atleast run SOny's crap firmware?

Id sooner have OE than bricked, but if it had sony, then I could sell it to a noob or take it to SOny to fix, or wait until there is a fix..

Yesh it can, you see my PSP had this problem now it's with Sony I updated it to 3.11 before sending it so I could appear to be a "little official FW lover".
