Hi guys has anyone released an app that allows you to view ms powerpoint presentations on your PSP? My Uni course has all their powerpoints on the net so if I could get them on my PSP I could keep up with the notes during lectures.

If there is one let me know if not maybe one of you guys might do one in the future? I hope anyway thanks guys.

P.S is no one interested in working on a Full Spectrum Warrior Clone for the PSP? I put a post up a couple days and no-one replied, I feel like billy no mates.

Anyway thanks again.

I don't know of any Office apps being ported to the PSP, or a good enough Windows emulator, sorry.
And I haven't heard anything about any coming in the near future.

One solution is to make a video MP4 of the show, I think there are video capture programs, I likw PPT for PC has a thing called "My Broascasts" but I am not sure, but if u would wanna watch, the best way is to just make a video file..

Yeah I would say realg's way is about the only way I could think of. The psp cant read pp files so in that aspect you couldnt do it.

You could always take screen shots of the slides and then view them in your picture folder. (Am guessing that you are able to download the lecture slides from your uni intranet or something first)
jamessto
cheers guys some good ideas there I'll give them a go this week and see which works best for me. i'll post on which method works best.

As long as there is no animation that would work, Disadvatage of that is no animation, disadvatage of video is auto advance!

if you want you could convert it using media-convert.com
convert from pps to flash and see it through the web browser
DEvok
but isnt this a huge hassle to deal with? i understand that you want the notes for the lecture for convenience but still there have to be a better way, just get your laptop if you have one. tongue.gif

there is a window xp for the psp but its just a bunch of offline webpages, and it acts like a simple pda
it mimics the XP Operating System but it doesn't support any more file types than what the psp already supports.
so it won't work,
unless you convert it or someone makes a homebrew to support .pps files (powerpoint presentations)

there is also a vista psp too!

do wat u can for now...
sahinson
that would be hot

Hi guys, I tried out the screenshot method and that took ages to do, i couldn't find any video software that captured from the desktop. I probably wasn't looking hard enough. Anybody know any software that does that? Cheers for all your ideas guys.

Sweet, I though u would have to pay for a program like that! Is it Vista compatible?

So, jamessto just use this and run the AVI through a convertor!!
