Want to make you PS3 even bigger? Pelican has the answer with their new AIR FLO Cooler. The AIR FLO will make your PS3 about 20% bigger, transforming your lowly console into a full-scale Battlestar (as in Galactica).

Supposedly the new periphreal also cools your PS3. Personally, we've never gotten the "Your PS3 is too hot" warning, but we can see where some might like the alleged added security of extra cooling. This unit actually draws its power from its own AC adapter rather than putting any additional strain on the PS3 power supply itself. With 5 extra fans and a $29.95 MSRP, the AIR FLO may be a worthwhile accessory for the super-paranoid console tweaker (or Battlestar Galactica fan).

Doesnt look that bad. and its quite cheap to. i think id get one, as soon as i get a ps3. wouldnt want the £400 box to overheat now.

Neither have i kurt but then again ive never paid £400 pounds for a console before. u never can be too careful

I have! When I brought the PS2 when they first came out, I unpacked it, set it up, turned it on and 5min later it near melted!
I took it back to were I got it and they said they have to test it before they give me another one, once they set it up and turned it on the top of the PS2 started to melt, they gave me another one strait away with out saying a word!

I will be getting this LITTLE device for my PS3.

This will be good for the earlier 'over heating' PS3's that EB Games is still selling. I got one from there that would make some real weird sounds so I brought it back and got one of the newer makes.
Once the PS3 sits on for about 4hrs [mainly when Im downloading alot of Demos or whatever], the PS3 starts to hum very loudly and over heats. Once it even shut off from this =P
I suppose for those unlucky enough to own one of these PS3's still, this is a nice feature. Or for those who need a nice Air Conditioner in the summer =P

There were very few ps3 that actually had that problem. It was like one of the shipments.

Thats useful.. Especially in my tropical climate country and with no AIR CONDITIONING.. It will definitely help alot to protect the huge investment..

My PS3 has yet to over heat in fact last night i fell asleep with it running a game and this morning it was fine a little warm but no weird sounds and I picked up my game where i left off and it ran perfectly Over the last 10 years or so, I have noly had Sony and never in those years has any of those systems over heated or broke well my ps2 did but tht was after 6 years of playing and being dropped and it was one of the very first ps2s
