Ok I have 3.30 and I want to get 3.30-oe-a but i heard a lot of up and downsides about it so what should I do and I never done custom upgrade or downgrade before if I do it wrong what the worst can happen plz reply

First of all I know of no 3.30 downgrader, I know that you can downgrade any firmware from 303 and down, all you have to do up grade to a 303 and follow the guide you get from the fourm.

You're correct partly as there's no 3.30 to 1.5 downgrader at the moment but 'seanb' have stated that he has a 3.30 and there's no way he can downgrade to 3.03.

As for seanb, OE FW (custom firmware) can only be install from a 1.5FW and as been stated that there's NO downgrader for 3.10 to 3.30 at the moment and no one knows when it gonna be as well. Just be patience and do not upgrade to any higher firmwares. Read more post and you'll get to know your PSP better.

If i were you i would go with 3.03 OE-C. theres more things you can use and change on your psp

That would be all fine and dandy if seanb was even able of using CFW (but he can't due to the fact that he's running Sony's offical 3.30.) Seanb just sit tight eventually a downgrader will be made, and remember DO NOT UPDATE!! (Updating to another offical FW will only make things harder on yourself.)



Well even though you can't downgrade as of yet the worst possible thing that could happen while downgrading or upgrading to a CFW is that you brick. (Bricking is where your PSP becomes unuseable basically if you brick you have a nice shinny black paperweight.)

Tough luck. You will have to wait for a downgrader.

i havnt used any of the 3.30 series yet, which one is better?

there is no downside of downgrading, u even get better stuff from custom firmware than regular, cuz u can change you CPU speed, play iso games (free full games), and much more u nvr knew!
