Enter the URL of the movie, you can goto the page and copy the adress bar or if a shortcut takes you to the movie [like someone in the forums gives a link] you can right click and say "Copy Link Location" [Firefox] or "Copy Shortcut" [IE]

Click okay, click download, download the file GETMOVIE or something like that, rename it to anything.flv. You can use the FLV player on their site or run it through this program!




Use http://www.nurs.or.jp/~calcium/3gpp/ to convert movies to PSP!! The page is in Japanese but click the link that says 3GP_Converter034.zip.

Unzip to any folder (program files recommended). Run "Setup.exe" and switch it to English. Select the mode near the bottom Model: PSP Direct, Renamed.



Now run "3GP.exe" when ever you want to send I video to yur PSP, you may wanna make a shortcut on the desktop/start menu/QuicLanuch/etc. Now drag the file into the top area in the pic http://www.nurs.or.jp/~calcium/3gpp/images/3GPPConv_01.gif it says, some japanese writing then .mpg, drag yur vids here and it'll start converting! You may wanna click the browse button to select the folder where the MP4s come out, I think they go on the Desktop my default.



When converting is finished you can delete the THM file(s), Make a folder on yut memory stick called MP_ROOT and a folder called 100MNV01 inside MP_Root. Put the MP4s here and enjoy.

PS DO NOT RENAME THE MP4s!!! THE PSP NEEDS THEM TO BE NAMED LIKE M4V00001.MP4

PS If you minimize, it'll go down the the system tray [by the clock], if you use WinXP it'll notify you after every file is done.

you could also use vixy.net, you can directly convert it to different formats including mp4 for the psp...

I use WMRecorder to record any videos on-line then use WMConvert to convert to PSP

ya i use get tube for mac and it can get it to mp4 or mp3 directly. theres lots of these programs

its not as user friendly as vixy.net but it has more options and more files to convert from and to
but i think the direct link is needed or you could upload and get it converted then download it
For Firefox
-get unplug extension
--or
-right click on the page
-and click "view page info"
-and look for the .flv under the "media" tab
-copy .flv URL
For Internet Explorer
-watch the whole video
-then look in the computers "temporary internet files" folder
-look for .flv
-drag .flv to desktop

PS: Vixy only works for Youtube (which leaves out myspace videos, metacafe, Yahoo video, etc.)

Hey cool but i use another program to get it off of youtube. you can download it off of mozilla firefox as a toolbar, and it downloads it for free and really fast1

Sweet. THnks a lot there are soo many good vids on you tube. Now I will be able to take them anywhere. I just wish the sound quality was a lottle better.

yes itz free..i use it too..damn fast..but why convert,just play directly using flv format using psptube..works great..but cant fastforward or rewind,only pause..itz either play n pause only or waste time converting..u choose..

you can just use the older version of the psptube to download the flv vidoes and watch them on the psp with psptube. I have tried and it works. I havent try doin that on the lastest psptube yet, because they fix the every.

It plays downloaded ones too? Hmm, I always coverted to MP4, funny MP4 is usually smaller, but not than FLV.

I have TCPMP (The Core Pocket Media Player) for my iPAQ (Pocket PC/PDA) and it plays both so I can play Youtube downladoed and converted MP4s for PSP (no sound unless you get the codec which isnt included due ti stupid intellectual proporty)

check out the latest psptube..i've tried it,works awesome..save flv along with thumbnails!! youtube,video6 n veoh! no need to create accounts,try them..PSPTube20071229c..hope this helps..
