I am new to this and don't understand how ISO means or what it is used for, just got my PSP a month ago...help!

first of all this is in the wrong section. put this in general discussion and help, and Iso is the game file that u can put on a Memory Stick to play free games.

BUT....if your firmware is 3.30 Official Sony FW, your screwed. It cant be downgraded.

ISO is a disk image of a UMD.

For now. Given that for the longest time, nobody thought anything beyond 3.00 could be downgraded, it may just be a matter of time.

The homebrew scene appears to have more creative thinkers on its side.
