Too late, I'm a newb just ran the updater thinking it would install v2.0 then I could take it back to v1.5.

Little did I know at the time it would be v2.01.

Great. Do you think someone will work out this new version in time?

Cheers,

J

I just read on the sony forums that you can still downgrade to 1.5 from 2.01. I guess you just put the files in your music folder instead of the photo folder on your mem stick. I havnt tested this yet myself.

My co-worker has a 2.0 and doesn't care about homebrew, i'm sure
he'll be glad to test theory tomorrow when i see him...

ok i post a ide it may work .wav this new came from a ftp hacker i know he say when he ahck office ftp he like to make a virus in .wav

Ninkul
The programming in the music loading section is different, it wont work.

To load images from music files, you need it to be .mp3 and add a jpeg to the file within the mp3 itself which is edited much like the ID3 tags and stuff.
XISO
i sead .wav not .mp3 ok .wav is far older than mp3 so ti cude be hackable
Ninkul
see my other post in your topic, goes into further detail.

Is .wav even supported by the psp..?

but yeah, theres a lot of coding complications, it can be easily done on windows because well.. its buggy and the worst operating system. Too bad jack all games/stuff is coded for linux sad.gif

Thanks for your help. I tried putting the file in photo folder and it just says that it is corrupted data. If you have a different outcome plz let me know.
