I use downloaded isos and was wondering if I use them online could sony track me down and fine me?? Just wondering as I was about to take socom 2 online and the terms and usage thing caught my eye with 'we have the right to check software for copyrighting' or at least it said sumthing like tht, anyway reply soon thnx!

yea, plus who really checks? millions of ppl do it so they're not gonna waste their time checking every bit of software they find

well i bet each game has some sort of fingerprint... it would be easy to find out though, take 2 psps and adhock a game, if they choke, they can be identified if not then no....

The only way they might be able to track you is if you played the game online. Beyond that, there really isn't any way to tell if someone is playing via ISO or UMD.

Definitely not buddy, that would be crossing the privacy terms. And plus, millions o fpeople have the UMD, how would they be able to check them all? and ISO are like the same, they can't know if we're using iso buddy.
