When does the PSP camera comeout

Sony is not planning on realsing the sony chotto shot camera in North America. It is a Japan only item at the moment. Or so i've heard

argh, then why put the option for one in the US firmware?

exactly.. they are gonna release it... sony is just making people wait or end up buying a import.
why do you think put the camera option in a past update? Simple..it builds up some excitement for the camera. hell, they already come out with another update since that.
the u.s. release will might be different also.. maybe more Mega pixels, maybe better editing software.. which would in turn force the import buyers to get another.

Why care? A decent digital camera costs around a hundred, and unless Sony's cam is under that mark, it really isn't worth buying at all.

My phone takes video. My last phone took video. The PSP cam is only rated at around 1.4 megapixels. My phone does that.

I paid 75 bucks last year for a Nikon 4MP camera that takes video with sound. The PSP cam isn't really worth it at current specs.

I would rather use my phone for a game/video, cos i take my phone everywhere and i dont think am going to carry my psp everywhere

I Use my psp for everything : Mp3 player, The internet and yes A games console. if this camera is any good ill be investing my money in one because its just cool. imagine having all them 'magic' moments as your wallpaper or just a picture or your fav pet or your girlfriend .. I Think its a great idea .. ?? Isnt there sumfing called psp-gps coming out soon ??

I like it. check out the other forums with the psp camera. I reviewed and I think its a great "tool."

yeah, my phone does better, but the psp is alot friendlier taking video/pics.

I have bought one via ebay and to be honest the ability to record video is kind of crap. you can rec 15sec then you have to make another rec. I not really understand why haven't they done it about 5 min with 4Gb-s memstick it shouldn't be a problem, despite of the video I love it because of the abality to make photos. I'm not that kind of person who want ZoMg 20000x2000000 res or it worths nothing. Sure 1,4 megapixel isn't for making high res texture but I find it really handy on sight seeing and you can view those pictures on a great display too, so it worths its price, at least for me

You can make movies longer then 15 secs if you DONT use the Edit UMD it came with. Update the psp higher then 2.82 it has a camera option under photos in the XMB.

yup.. you can make the movies as long as your memory card will let you.

It will sell for $49.99 but it might be a long time for it comes to the u.s.a thats why i got one imported it the best add-on you can get for the psp

I imported the Beutiful Chotto Shot Camera and it is brilliant i love it so far i have taken 5 thousand pictures with it of my village and other villages and it still works i have even made a movie with it but i deleted the bakups. i have edited everything i can with the software that comes with it.

In Australia they sell Psp cameras that are for $50, its a 1mp only if im right i saw it from Eb, the camera is made by powerwave.

you can use it for business too. i work at a patio furniture store and made a sale from a pic i took at a store where we had a product my store didnt and the psp screen shows better detail than a phone screen. showing that pic closed the sale!

I have bought the PSP Camera off of eBay a few months ago, it came rather quickly. Within a week I had received it. People always say that its a crappy camera because its only 1.3 MP. From these pictures I would say the PSP Camera has excellent quality. I have taken EVERY PICTURE on here with the PSP Camera.

i saw it for sale in ebay for 50 bux. anybody bought one yet? hows the picture quality? i know its 1.4 megapixel but that doesnt show or tell me anything bc my sidekick phone is 1.5 megapixel and its not good.

How big is it? Hopefully it can take better pictures than my RAZR phone.

Why would any1 buy this. Dont care what it does its still a shit camera. Would rather buy a digi cam, much better, plus u can get a 5 MP digi cam for quite cheap nowadays
