is there an 8g stik or or is it in the making

There is an 8GB stick. For sure 100%, but it is very pricey around $199 if i remember right.
Your better off getting 2- 2GB sticks off of ebay for $50 a piece!

hes right...but when the 16gb comes out, expect the 8gb to go down in price.

there was somewhere saying that , i think it was the 8gb. it was about $999 for some reason but thats just stupid

sony is just acting stupid to sell memory sticks of ncreasing size at hundreds when the price eventually will come down to less than 150; waste of time and poor advertising

they have 8 gig sticks for 280 or 4 gig sticks for 109 each... better off getting like 2 4 gig sticks and a 2 gig stick heh.

I have been looking at getting the 2g stick myself. it seems to be on sale alot lately and cheaper to grab a couple of them instead of just a 4g stick.

I don't personally own an 8 GB stick, but I own two 2 GB's, and it's nice.

I think that the price of an 8 GB is around $200. It's not bad, and you can put everything on one memory device.

Does anyone have the 8GB mem stick? I wonder if it takes a long time to load the VIDEO menu if you have a lot of videos on it. It takes about 15 seconds for my list of thumbnails to load, and I'm not even using an 8GB stick. I have about 40 videos.

yeah they have 8 gb sticks, but, it only has about 7.3gb and cost around 279.99. Better off buying 2 4 gig sticks (99.99 each) then a 2 gig stick (49.99) and pocket 30 bucks!

If you can be bothered I think its better to have a smaller mem stick and often using your computer to transfer the files

i suggest that you buy an external harddrive around 80 bucks you can get 200+ Gb, then buy 2 or 4Gb memory stick... i think its more cost effective and you can store a lot more files this way!

8 Gb mem stick still has speed issues when reading from it and playing games could be a pain.

Only buy that much space if you really have alot and use all of them, if not wasting money. I only put sons i listen to, movies i really watch, and some pictures but no big lists of songs/pictures/movies on my PSP.

when they are selling higher memory sticks isnt that encouraging more piracy? do they expect that people will have 80gb of movies in the future?

depends if you have a fake one or not most fakes are the sony ones imo..

How can you have too much memory? There are a,lot of ways to use it all up. Use it for music, pictures, or even games. I'd get tonss of games with a 8 GB

Yes there i a 8gb memory card, but i am not sure if it works with the PSP yet because there are many people saying that the memory card doesn't work with the older PSP or the Slim. The 8gb cost $170, I have send Sony a question of the PSP and haven't receive any answer yet.
